The White City Innovator’s programme awarded GBP 4,000 cash to Brightcare, a student-led startup that uses localized light therapy as a targeted treatment to kill bacterial in the bladder. A novel technology, this solution could provide immediate pain relief for those suffering from bladder infections.

Second place behind this Medtech startup was an Edtech venture called Studio Lara, which was founded by alumna Niki Goransson. Its interactive learning materials teaches basic electronics and programming skills to children in a fun way.
